Old Street Sign

I wanted to write a blog entry tonight. Instead I spent a fair amount of time working with the picture you see below. It appears that there used to be a lamp on the top of this street sign, but it was long ago shattered by the time I took the picture.
Once upon a time these must have been all over town.
